SELF-REGISTRATION ERROR IN MSJTES40.DLL

Introduction

During the installation of the CNHElectronic Service Tool (EST), an error message appears indicating that one ormore files failed to self-register, specifically "MSJTES40.DLL". Thisbehavior has been observed after system updates that modify Windows componentsor libraries. 

Detailed description of commonerrors

The error is associated withchanges in system libraries or registry structures that affect theinitialization of the Microsoft Jet Database Engine. As a result, the file"MSJTES40.DLL" cannot be properly registered during the installationprocess. 

Effects and consequences

Failure to register this file mayprevent CNH EST from accessing internal databases or storing configurationdata, leading to an incomplete installation, program instability, or aninability to complete the installation process.
